Laser Hair Removal
Lasers and light sources provide gentle, non-invasive and long-lasting solutions to unwanted hair. Common sites treated include underarm, bikini, legs, abdomen, back, face and chest. Since different skin types respond better to certain lasers, MD Aesthetics uses several laser technologies for hair removal.
The LightSheer (Diode) by Lumenis is the "gold standard" and considered the best laser to treat lighter skin types and can also be used on brown skin. A long wavelength (Nd:YAG) laser is the "gold standard" laser to safely treat darker skin types. The elos™ system from Syneron which combines light and radio frequency energy, and other pulsed light technologies provide some permanent reduction in blonde, grey and red haired patients.
