Forever Clear® is designed to treat active inflammatory acne, including papules and pustules, on the face and body. It also helps reduce post-acne redness, calm inflammation, and support overall skin healing. While it does not directly treat acne scars, improving active acne is an important step in preventing future scarring.

You may be a good candidate if you have mild to moderate inflammatory acne, frequent breakouts, or acne that is slow to respond to topical treatments alone. Forever Clear® is suitable for many skin types and is especially helpful for patients who want to reduce reliance on antibiotics or harsh medications. A consultation will determine whether it’s appropriate for your acne type and skin tone.

Preparation is simple. Avoid active tanning and self-tanners before treatment, and stop using strong exfoliants or retinoids for several days unless otherwise directed. Arrive with clean skin free of makeup, sunscreen, or topical acne treatments. We’ll review your skincare and medications during your visit.

Forever Clear® uses a three-step BBL protocol:

Protective eyewear is worn, and the handpiece delivers quick pulses of light across the treatment area. Sessions are efficient and performed entirely in-clinic.

Most patients find the treatment very tolerable. Sensation is often described as brief warmth or a light snap against the skin. Built-in cooling helps keep the experience comfortable, and no numbing is typically required.

There is little to no downtime. You may experience mild redness or warmth immediately after treatment, which usually resolves within a few hours. Most people return to normal activities the same day.

Many patients notice calmer skin and fewer active breakouts within the first few treatments. Forever Clear® is typically performed as a series of sessions, spaced a few weeks apart, for best results. The exact number depends on acne severity and how your skin responds. Maintenance treatments may be recommended to help prevent future flares.
