Am I a good candidate for NanoLaserPeel®?

You may be a good candidate if you want to improve:

Ideal candidates are in good general health, without active skin infections, open lesions, or recent intense sun exposure. NanoLaserPeel® is often chosen by patients who want visible improvement with limited downtime.

Many clients include NanoLaserPeel® as part of a broader plan alongside BBL®, MOXI®, or medical-grade skincare for enhanced results. Cost depends on treatment area(s) and depth; you’ll receive a clear, personalized quote before scheduling.
Is NanoLaserPeel® suitable for all skin types?

NanoLaserPeel® can be safely tailored for a wide range of skin tones (Fitzpatrick I–VI) using conservative depths and test spots when appropriate.

We avoid treating actively tanned skin and carefully customize settings for deeper complexions to reduce the risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation.
How should I prepare for a NanoLaserPeel®?

Typical preparation includes:

  • Avoiding sun exposure and self-tanner for 2 weeks before treatment (SPF 30+ daily)
  • Pausing retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, and exfoliants for 3–5 days before and after
  • Avoiding waxing, chemical peels, or laser hair removal on the area for 7 days prior
  • Sharing any history of cold sores (antiviral prophylaxis may be recommended for perioral areas)
  • Arriving with clean, product-free skin

Please disclose recent antibiotics, photosensitizing medications, or isotretinoin history during your consultation.
What happens during a NanoLaserPeel® treatment?
  • Optional numbing: A topical anesthetic may be applied for 15–30 minutes
  • Laser resurfacing: The erbium laser removes a micro-thin layer of skin with precise depth control (treatment time typically 5–15 minutes, depending on area and depth
  • Immediate aftercare: You may notice warmth, mild stinging, or a temporary “frosted” appearance. Soothing products and broad-spectrum SPF are applied before you leave

How many treatments will I need?

Typical plans include:

  • 1–3 sessions, spaced 4–8 weeks apart, for optimal results
  • Maintenance treatments every 3–4 months, depending on goals and skin behavior

Your provider will help determine the appropriate depth and frequency for your skin.
What should I expect after treatment?
  • Day 0: Pinkness or redness, warmth, mild swelling possible
  • Days 1–3: Sunburn-like sensation with light flaking or peeling (often called a “weekend peel”)
  • Days 3–5: New, smoother skin becomes visible

Aftercare:

  • Gentle cleanser and barrier ointment for the first 24 hours, then a bland moisturizer
  • SPF 30+ daily
  • Avoid heat, saunas, swimming, heavy sweating, and active skincare for 48–72 hours
  • Do not pick or peel flaking skin

Makeup is often acceptable once the skin surface is intact (typically 24–48 hours).
